There will be a Deacon’s meeting today (Feb 5th) at 2:30pm.

Monday night February 6th at 6:30pm in the church annex will be the first session of CWT. Anyone interested in learning how to share their faith comfortably and effectively is invited to attend.

The February business meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 8, at 6:00pm.

The Cheerful Hearts will have a Valentine luncheon on Thursday, February 9th at 12:00 noon. Brother Raymond Ward will be our speaker. We will be having soup, sandwiches and desserts. The soup is taken care of so please bring sandwiches or desserts. Contact Martha Martin for more information.

Baptist Women’s Day is February 26th. The ladies of the church will be in charge of both services. Breakfast for all ladies will be provided at 8:30am. We will have a guest speaker and special music. The evening service will include special music, testimonies and a skit. We will have a fellowship after the evening service. Please bring finger foods and desserts.

The sermon series for February and March will be from Matthew chapters 5 and 8. Pastor Nathan misspoke from the pulpit last week.

A group from Tunnel Hill will be going to Oneida again this year and we are collecting Campbell’s soup labels and Box tops for Education. Please help by saving these items. POC is Billie Jestis or Karen Dingess.

The food pantry needs to be restocked. We need canned vegetable and fruits, soup, peanut butter, crackers, pasta and kool-aid. See Marcia Hartsell for more information.

Children’s Activities

Attention all TEAMKID! Tonight we jump the hurdle of Feeling Lonely. We’ll learn from Elijah how we can live in joy no matter what happens to us and we WILL play the balloon game! Bring your Bible!

The Children’s Valentine party will be held during the Sunday school hour next Sunday, February 12th.

Kids! Join us Wednesday evening at 6:00 for Wacky Wednesday.

Youth Activities
